Install on Webflow
Use a Code Embed element on the page.
Status:Script or iframeNot tested yet. Based on Webflow's own embed feature, not yet run by us on a live Webflow site.
Before you start, add the tool from its page or the dashboard and enter your website address. The Install screen gives you the code to copy in the steps below. No DNS record or file is needed.
Steps
Add a Code Embed
In the Designer, open Add elements and drag Code Embed onto the page.
Paste the code
Paste the code and click Save and close.
Publish
Publish the site and open the page on your registered domain. The Designer canvas does not run scripts.
Example code
Copy the real code from your widget in the dashboard. It looks like this. The Iframe code has a fixed height of 640 pixels.
<div data-toolsdocks-widget="YOUR_WIDGET_ID"></div> <script async src="https://www.toolsdocks.com/embed/v1.js"></script>
Restrictions and tips
- Custom code needs a Webflow plan that includes it.
- A webflow.io staging address is a separate website address from your custom domain.
If the tool does not appear
- Open the page on your registered website address (www and non-www are both included). A staging or preview address is separate.
- Check that the widget and the website are not paused in the dashboard.
- If your website sends a Content Security Policy, allow the loader and the frame as described in the installation guide.
