Questions
- How do I install a tool on my website?
- After you register your website and create a widget, you copy a short code snippet into your page. Platforms that do not allow scripts can use a plain iframe instead.
- What counts as one use?
- One successful tool operation, such as one converted batch of images or one merged PDF. Opening the tool, changing settings, failed attempts and downloading the same result again do not count.
- Are allowances shared between tools?
- No. Each tool has its own monthly allowance on your website. Several copies of the same tool on your website share that tool's allowance.
- Will my visitors see the toolsdocks logo?
- No. There is no toolsdocks logo, watermark or link inside embedded tools on any plan. Pro and Business let you add your own logo and name if you want to.
- How do ads work on Starter?
- Starter widgets can show an advertisement placed by toolsdocks once ad delivery is approved. Visitors never have to click an ad to use a tool. Pro and Business widgets load no ads.
- What happens when an allowance runs out?
- That tool pauses for new operations until the allowance resets on the first day of the next month at 00:00 UTC, or until you upgrade. Other tools keep working. There are no automatic overage charges.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes. A cancelled subscription keeps its paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Your website then moves to Starter, or you can pause your widgets instead.
- Are my visitors' files uploaded?
- The embeddable tools process files in the visitor's browser. File contents are not sent to toolsdocks for processing, usage counting or statistics.
